Week 08 - Hang in & Hang on

Something that I learned from this week was not to be in the rush of things. I read the talk "However Long and Hard the Road by Jeffrey R and Patricia T. Holland. The talk starts out with this person asking them for their tuition back because they didn't get married in all fun. The theme of the start of the talk was talking about those that are worried about their social life & how some people are struggling. Jeffrey R Holland talked about keeping your head up when struggles come up & to have a sense of humor. Also to not waist your time walking on your lower lip about what is not. He asked that we become excited about our chance to grow and develop and become. Was really happy I had the time this week to read the talk & really help understand perseverance & really to endure to the end with excitement and happiness for the future.

We were asked in our online class to watch a 22-minute video called "A Hero's Journey." What I took away from watching the video is that life is precious. Life can be taken away from us at any given moment and I feel we really need to not take our life for granted. We have a journey here on earth and we have one life to live it up. Bucket List - Top 3 working on right now.

Here are the top 3 things from my bucket list that I want to accomplish very soon. 1. Start a podcast this semester. 2. Improve on the LLC I have right now this semester. 3. Graduate in the next few semesters.  These things I have been thinking about a lot lately and want to achieve these goals very soon. I chose to put these as the top 3 because I want to set some goals right away to accomplish them. I feel like I need to set some daily habits that will help me with these goals I have. I need to stop procrastinating and set myself accountable for these 3 things on my list. I want to place these here to help me be accountable and start doing the necessary things daily to help achieve these goals. Week 11 - Hopkins Family issue

It really got me thinking when I read about the mini case study on Hopkins family issue. This was the issue -  "For as long as he could remember, David Hopkins wanted to be a successful high school football coach. He even dreamed of joining the college ranks one day. In late 2000, after having achieved an enviable win-loss record at a smaller school, he was named as the head football coach at a large West Texas high school that had a long tradition of winning state championships.
